Every Elbo Book is custom-made, so we don’t offer returns or cancellations. Most books arrive in ~7–20 business days, and if yours is damaged, misprinted, or confirmed lost, we’ll replace it at no extra cost. If you believe your book has a significant issue with its content, contact support@elbobooks.com and we’ll try to help.

Where We Ship
We currently ship only within the United States.
We plan to expand internationally in the future, but for now, all orders must have a U.S. shipping address.
How Long Will My Order Take?
Each Elbo Book is created on demand using AI + our own software + human review, then printed and shipped by our print-on-demand partner.
Here’s what to expect:
1. Book Creation & Printing
Creation and printing usually take 5–11 business days after you place your order. The majority of this time is allocated for our print-on-demand partner.
2. Shipping
Once printed, your book ships with the method you selected at checkout.
Shipping typically takes 2–10 business days after printing.
Overall Estimate
Most customers receive their book in ~7–20 business days from the time they order.
Holiday Season Note
During peak seasons (especially November and December), printing and shipping times may be longer than usual due to increased carrier volumes.
Important Notes
These timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Delays can happen due to carrier issues, weather, holidays, or other factors outside our control.
Tracking & Delivery
At this time, we may or may not provide tracking details, depending on the capabilities of our print and shipping partners. Some orders may include tracking information; others may not. (Because we work with a print-on-demand partner that uses different carriers and workflows, tracking availability varies by shipment. We are working on improving this process.)
We’ll notify you by email when your book ships if our systems and partners make that possible, but this is not guaranteed for every order.
Please double-check your shipping address before submitting your order. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or repeated failed delivery attempts, we may require additional shipping fees to resend it or may cancel and refund the product price (less any unrecoverable shipping costs), at our discretion.
Risk of Loss
Once we hand your book to the shipping carrier, title and risk of loss pass to you.
That said:
If your package is confirmed lost in transit, we will send a replacement at no cost.
This applies only to packages lost before delivery is completed. Porch theft or post-delivery issues fall outside this policy but we’ll still do our best to help if you contact us.
Returns & Cancellations
Because each book is uniquely made for one child:
We do not accept returns or exchanges, except where required by law.
We do not allow cancellations or changes once an order is placed, because our creation process may begin immediately.
If you contact us quickly after ordering, we may try to accommodate changes, but we cannot guarantee it.

Damaged or Misprinted Books
If your book arrives damaged or has a printing defect:
Email support@elbobooks.com within 1 month of delivery.
Include your order number and clear photos of the issue.
If we confirm the problem, we will send you a replacement for free.
You may keep or recycle the damaged copy—no need to return it.
We do not issue refunds for personalized books unless we are unable to provide a replacement.
General Expectations
Each Elbo Book is unique. Because of how our creation process works:
AI-assisted tools + human review means occasional small variations or imperfections in puzzles, art, or layouts
Colors may differ slightly from what you see on screen
Final printed results can vary depending on printing and paper processes
If you believe your book has a significant issue beyond normal creative variation, contact support@elbobooks.com and we’ll review it.
